Parallax Effect

In this Best Buy campaign, we used a proof of concept from an R&D project we developed in our down time. This project involved the Best Buy In-House photography team, Creative Team, and myself. We spent an entire 10 hour day shooting various set pieces in all kinds of arrangements.

We then super imposed all of the elements into Photoshop and then After Effects to animate the simulated camera movement through a frozen in time set piece.

The chips and pop corn involved fishing line and a glue gun. This project was a lot of fun to shoot and we produced some very interesting results. There is a lot of potential for this style of photography parallax effect.
